Water, water everywhere…
Something tells me that I’m in danger of being dragged around the White Rose Centre tomorrow afternoon. After 2 torrential days the ground looks more suited to snorkelling than cricket, see artists impression below. Please feel free to insert your own duck joke here.

The unpredictable English summer looks to have caught up with us again, the beeb reporting 5.1cm of rainfall in four hours near York. I had first hand experience of the flooding this morning after being forced to wade in to work through several inches of rain, flippers would have been more appropriate than shoes.

It’s a pity that our first game against Savile Stars looks like being washed out, we were looking forward to a decent game and a bit of socialising afterwards. Still, at least Lee won’t be watering the square this week, probably.
