The old faithful wicket was resurrected, mainly because it had thrown it down all week once more. The backward point wet patch was still in full attendance but a game had to be played. 35 yard boundaries are the norm at some PDCL outstations, we were just making the best of a bad job.
2nd elevens no game, localers sharlston to a gettable if not difficult total with some late innings impetus provided from the previously injured OS skipper. Some bad shots, missing off straight balls and general finding ways of getting out later we collasped to 80 all out. The weekly TimO resistance helping the cause gain more respectability.
